How Bol Marathi teaches
One source of truth, two products. The website never invents words — everything teachable here comes from the app's curriculum.
The learning loop
- Vocabulary — words grouped into themes (food, family, travel), because themes are easier to remember than alphabets.
- Context — every word sits inside its category and lesson, not alone on a list.
- Examples — each word carries a real Marathi sentence with Hindi and English meanings.
- Listening — hear the word and pick it out; pronunciation you can't hear, you can't reproduce.
- Speaking — say real sentences with microphone checks and Marathi voice setup.
- Sentence construction — arrange words into Marathi's subject–object–verb order until it feels natural.
- Spaced repetition — reviews arrive before you forget, weakest words first.
- Long-term retention — streaks, XP, levels and reminders keep the loop turning.
Why Hindi → Marathi comparisons
Hindi speakers already know Marathi's sentence shape and hundreds of shared words. Bridge lessons map each Hindi pattern onto Marathi word by word, so prior knowledge transfers instead of starting from zero. English meanings ride along for everyone else.
How the curriculum progresses
31 units × 6 lessons (186 lessons): greetings and alphabet first, then survival phrases, everyday vocabulary, sentence patterns, pronunciation, questions, postpositions — up through advanced grammar, literature, business Marathi and a final assessment. Each unit adds vocabulary, speaking, listening, bridges, sentence building, grammar and culture.
