Monetization policy

How DE//AGENT earns money: placement rules, independence of rankings, disclosure requirements, and current program status.

The site is free and the registry is open. When the platform earns money, it comes from readers acting on recommendations — never from selling placement, rankings, or verification.

Placement rules

  • A commercial link appears only where the product genuinely completes the task on the page — a course at the end of a learning path, a tool inside its setup guide.
  • Learning products come first; infrastructure and equipment only where they add value.
  • No commissioned link on concept or reference pages, where reader intent is understanding, not buying.

Independence

Scores, evidence levels, verification, and comparison verdicts are computed from the registry and its evidence. None of them know whether a resource pays a commission, and no placement fee can change them. Any page with a commissioned link carries an affiliate disclosure naming the program.

Program review checklist

Before any program goes live, a curator records: eligibility for individual publishers, geographic restrictions, attribution window, payout threshold and terms version with the date checked. The record lives with the link decision, not in memory.

Current status

No affiliate links are live. Programs under evaluation include learning platforms such as DataCamp, cloud and infrastructure partner programs such as Databricks, and equipment and book programs such as Amazon Associates India. Names are listed for transparency; none are linked with tracking parameters, and none will be until their terms are reviewed against the checklist above.
